'Check out our latest offers here'

Poppy Cottage is attached
the home of Steve and Sally, at Ivy Cottage Farm (sorry no longer a working farm,
although you will still find hens foraging around and wonderful open countryside
to the rear), and is internally linked, along with having its own
separate entrance, stairs, lounge,
dining room and private decked garden. Guests will enjoy the privacy
of the cottage yet benefit from the service provided by their hosts,
Steve and Sally along with their sons Jordan and Ben.
In particular
the hearty Yorkshire breakfast, prepared from locally sourced
produce, our own free range eggs, all served in what was the original farm kitchen. This family run bed & breakfast offers you that 'little bit
extra' and is certainly a place you will remember.
Since undergoing a full refurbishment in 2009, Poppy Cottage
offers quality 'cottage style' bed and breakfast accommodation
just 5 minutes drive from Skipton, fully up-graded, but still retaining many of it's
original features and charm, with ample private parking for our
guests.

And finally, in case you're interested, some history..
Ivy Cottage Farm was a working farm up until the late 1970's when
the land was sold off and it became a private residence. The farm
cottage (now known as Poppy Cottage) with attached barn - a traditional
Dales longhouse, is believed to date back as far as the late 16th
century. The attached barn was converted in the early 1990's to
link to the cottage forming one long house.
Then in 2006 a further
extension was built to the rear of the property to accommodate
the space for what is now 'Ivy Cottage Farm and Poppy Cottage
Guest House Bed and Breakfast'.
